Import Posts from Other Platforms in Dorik

Getting Started



This documentation will guide you through the steps required to Import Posts from Other Platforms (WordPress, Ghosts, Medium, and Substack) to your Blog Posts under CMS Dashboard in Dorik. Follow the steps below accordingly to know the whole process.


How to Import Posts from WordPress to Dorik



Follow all the steps below on how to import posts from WordPress to your CMS Site

- Go to Posts from your CMS dashboard
- Click on Import Posts from the top right corner
- Choose WordPress
- Click on + upload under the XML File field
- Select the XML file from your device that you exported from WordPress & upload it.
- Click on Import Posts
- And all your posts or selected posts from WordPress will be imported into your CMS site.

💡 You have to Publish your imported posts to make them visible on your site. Otherwise, it will remain as Draft posts under Unpublished. Also, you can edit your posts inside the Dorik CMS dashboard.



How to Import Posts from Ghost to Dorik



Follow all the steps below on how to import posts from Ghost to your CMS Site

- Go to Posts from your CMS dashboard
- Click on Import Posts from the top right corner
- Choose Ghost
- Enter your Ghost’s Site URL under the Ghost Site URL field
- Click on + upload under the JSON File field
- Select the JSON file from your device that you exported from Ghost & upload it.
- Click on Import Posts
- And all your posts from Ghost will be imported into your CMS site.

💡 You have to Publish your imported posts to make them visible on your site. Otherwise, it will remain as Draft posts under Unpublished. Also, you can edit your posts inside the Dorik CMS dashboard.



How to Import Posts from Medium to Dorik



Follow all the steps below on how to import posts from Medium to your CMS Site

- Go to Posts from your CMS dashboard
- Click on Import Posts from the top right corner
- Choose Medium
- Click on + upload under the ZIP File field
- Select the ZIP file from your device that you exported from Medium & upload it.
- Click on Import Posts
- And all your posts from Medium will be imported into your CMS site

How to Import Posts from Substack to Dorik



Follow all the steps below on how to import posts from Substack to your CMS Site

- Go to Posts from your CMS dashboard
- Click on Import Posts from the top right corner
- Choose Substack
- Click on + upload under the ZIP File field
- Select the ZIP file from your device that you exported from Substack & upload it.t
- Click on Import Posts
- And all your posts or selected posts from Substack will be imported into your CMS site.
