How to move Classic site to CMS?

This documentation will guide you through the steps required to import a site from Dorik Classic to Dorik CMS. Follow the steps below to import a Dorik Classic site into a CMS Site.



Exporting a site from Dorik Classic


Follow all the steps below on how to export a site from Dorik Classic


  • Go to Dorik Classic & click on + New Website
  • Or choose an existing site by clicking on Edit Site
  • When creating a new website, you may choose any template according to your preference
  • When redirected to your website builder, click on the Hamburger Icon on the top right corner of your website builder
  • Select Export as JSON & your JSON file will be downloaded

Importing the Classic site into a CMS Site


Follow all the steps below on how to import a Classic site into your CMS site


  • Go to Dorik CMS & click on + New CMS Site
  • Or choose an existing site by clicking on Go to CMS Dashboard
  • Select any template according to your preference (when creating a new CMS Site)
  • Input your project title name & sub-domain name inside the fields and click on Create
  • Go to Design & Pages under Styles and Settings in your CMS dashboard
  • When redirected to your website builder, click on the Hamburger Icon from the top right corner of your website builder
  • Select Import JSON
  • Choose the JSON file you had previously downloaded on your computer
  • A pop-up will appear & you can choose to keep the existing pages or delete them
  • Press Import & your classic site will be imported to your CMS site
