How to Add Facebook/Meta Pixel

Getting Started



In this documentation, you will learn everything you need to know about how to integrate ‘Facebook Pixel’. To know the whole process required to integrate this mentioned feature into your website, follow all the steps below accordingly.


What does Facebook Pixel Do?



The ‘Facebook Pixel’ feature is used to track visitors’ activities & interactions (specific button & link clicks) that occur on your website. You can integrate this feature into both your Dorik Classic & CMS sites.

How to set up a Meta pixel



Go to Events Manager of your Facebook business page
Click Connect data sources and select Web.
Select Meta pixel and click Connect.
Add your Pixel name and click Create Pixel.
Enter your website URL to check for easy setup options.
Click Check.
Choose how to connect your website.
Set up conversion API to connect website activity as Set up manually.
Copy the pixel base code and click continue.
Go to your Dorik builder. From the Site Setting & Integration go-to advanced option, paste the base code on the Header code field. After that publish the site.
Optional: Toggle on Automatic advanced matching and verify the customer information that you want to send. and click Continue.
Add events using the Event setup tool or by manually adding code to your website.
Click the Open Event Setup tool to add events and parameters without additional coding.
Enter the URL of a specific page of your site
Test your Meta Pixel on your website
Select the button to set up your event.
Select the event type that you’d like to track
Click on Finish.
Voila! Here you can see your event details.

Step 3: Name your pixel and click Create Pixel.




Step 4: Enter your website URL to check for easy setup options.




Step 5: Choose how to connect your website




Step 6: Set up conversion API to connect website activity as Set up manually




Step 7: Copy the pixel base code and click continue.




Step 8: Go to your Dorik builder. From the Site Setting & Integration modal, click on the ‘Advanced’ option, and paste the base code on the Header code field. After that publish the site.





Step 9: Optional: Toggle on Automatic advanced matching and verify the customer information that you want to send. and click Continue.




Step 10: Add events using the Event setup tool or by manually adding code to your website.




Step 11: Click the Open Event setup tool to add events and parameters without additional coding.




Step 12: Enter the URL of a specific page of your site




Step 13: Test your Meta Pixel on your website




Step 14: Select the button to set up your event.




Step 15: Select the event type that you’d like to track







Step 16: Click on Finish.




Step 17: Here you can see your event details.
