In this article, you will learn everything you need to know about the difference between Dorik Classic & Dorik CMS. Dorik Classic and Dorik CMS are two different products offered by Dorik, with some key differences. To know the differences in detail, keep reading this article.
Dorik Classic Site
Dorik Classic has only the static website-building feature that is good for landing pages and static websites. Our static site builder allows you to create sites with static web pages and customize them using pre-built templates, blocks, and components. These pages display unchanging data or information unless manually updated through the builder. It also offers a drag-and-drop interface, responsive design, SEO optimization, and other features to help users build professional-looking websites. Static sites are well-suited for building landing pages for any purposes
Dorik CMS Site
Dorik CMS is the latest and more powerful version of Dorik. The CMS Site builder provides you with all of the benefits of our static builder, as well as a range of advanced features such as dynamic content management, collaboration, team membership, paid membership, custom redirection, custom collection & post management, etc. To sum up, Dorik CMS has all the features of Dorik Classic (except Export Site) + a built-in blogging system, membership, collections, white-label features, etc. CMS sites are ideal for blog websites, news websites, larger businesses, content creation, etc.

Getting Started with Dorik Classic ➡️
Creating a new classic site
Follow all the steps below to learn how to create a new website with Dorik classic —
Go to Dorik Classic & click on the + New Website from the dashboard's top right corner
To create a new website, you can
- Select a Template if you want to start with a template
- Or click on `**Start from Scratch`** button to start with a blank canvas
- Or click on `Import JSON` button to import any template

Building or Customizing the site
Follow all the steps below to learn how to build or customize your website —
After choosing or importing a template or selecting starting from scratch, your Dorik website builder will open
You may build or customize your website by following our Builder Basic Guide →
Save & Publish the site
Follow all the steps below to learn how to Publish & Save your website —
After building or adding content to your website, you may save it as a draft without publishing it to a live URL by clicking the Save button from the top navigation
Click on Publish from the top right corner to make your website live
After clicking the Publish button, a pop-up will appear
Enter the Project Name and Domain name
Set your Site URL ( Subdomain or Custom Domain )
Click on Publish Site
To visit your site externally, click on the button right next to `Publish`

Done! your CMS site will be created
