This article will cover how you can integrate a domain from name.com into your website. Follow all the instructions below to do that.
Custom Domain Integration
Follow the steps below to add a Custom Domain to your site.
Go to your website dashboard
Click on Custom Domain under the Advanced Configuration Panel on your left
- Step 1: Add your domain name
- Step 2: Copy the values from the Type records A and CNAME and paste them into your DNS records.

π How to connect Custom Domain with your site?
name.com Domain Integration
To integrate a custom domain from name.com to your website, follow these steps:
Go to your Dorik site dashboard.
Navigate to the Custom Domain option.
Enter your custom domain URL in the provided field.
Log in to your name.com dashboard and select the My Domains option.
Click on the Manage DNS Record option for the specific domain.
Delete any unnecessary A records and CNAME records.
Add the A records and CNAME records provided in Step 3 of the Dorik site dashboard by clicking the "Add Records" button.
Return to your Dorik site dashboard and click the Connect Domain button.

β Step 1: Log in to your Dorik account & navigate to your site dashboard.
β Step 2: If youβre connecting your Domain to a CMS site, then click on the Advanced Configurations option from the left panel of your site dashboard. Next, select Custom Domain and enter your domain name (e.g., exmmmm.com) in the input field as shown below.
If youβre connecting your domain to a static site, click on the gear icon βοΈ labeled Site Settings in the website builder. Select Custom Domain (without WWW) from the Domain Type options. Enter your domain name (e.g., exmmmm.com) in the input field as shown below.
β Step 3: Log in to your name.com dashboard and select the My Domains option.
β Step 4: Click on the three-dot ... option next to your specific domain, then select Manage DNS Records.
β Step 5: Now, add the A records and CNAME records provided in Step 2 of the Dorik site dashboard.
π‘ Before proceeding to Step 5, delete any previous unnecessary A records and CNAME records from the DNS records.
β Step 6: Go back to your dashboard and click on Connect Domain or Save Changes to finish.
β οΈ It usually takes 1 to 48 hours to update your domain globally
