Zapier Integration (Custom Form)

Getting Started



Integrating Zapier with the Custom Form element allows you to store form data on various platforms using webhooks. This article will guide you through the process of connecting Zapier to the Custom Form element and storing form data in your email address via Zapier.


Adding Custom Form



Follow the below steps to add a Custom form element on your site:

- Click + Add New Section and select a Container.
- Click on the + button labelled with Add Element or Container.
- Then, select Custom Form from the Elements tab.

Zapier Integration



Follow these steps to integrate Zapier with your Custom Form:

Connect Zapier with Custom Form and Send Data to Email

- On your Dorik site, click on the custom form to Edit Element.
- Scroll to Form Configuration and choose Zapier from the Send To field.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap and select Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger.
- Select Catch Hook, copy the Webhook URL, and paste it into the Webhook URL field in Dorik.
- Verify the connection by sending test data.

Send Form Data from Zapier to Email

- Continue with the selected record in Zapier.
- Choose Email by Zapier and select Send Outbound Email.
- Enter the email address and Subject.
- Select the form data fields to include in the email body, then click Continue.
- Test the step and verify on your published site.
- Click Publish to save your Zap.

On your Dorik site, click on the custom form to Edit Element.






Scroll down to the Form Configuration and choose Zapier from the Send To field.






Go to the Zapier dashboard and click on the + Create button and select ⚡Zaps to create a new Zap.





Click on the Trigger option.






Search for Webhook and make sure you are selecting Webhooks by Zapier.






Select Catch Hook from the Dropdown and click on the Continue button.






Copy the Webhook URL from the Test tab, return to your Dorik site builder & paste it under the Webhook URL field under Form Configuration.






To verify the connection, click on the click here text, and then it will send a test data to Zapier.








Send Form Data from Zapier to Email




Click on the Continue with selected record button from the last step.





Choose Email by Zapier from the Action modal.






Choose Send Outbound Email from the Event field.






Write the email address in the To field where you would like to receive the data from the Custom Form and enter the desired Subject of the email you wish to receive.






Next, choose the items you want to include in your email body, such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Details, etc., in the Body field. Then, click on the Continue button.






Click the Test Step button and visit your published site to verify.

After that, click Publish to save your Zap.
