Verifying your site on Google Search Console

Follow the steps to verify your site on Google Search Console:

- Go to https://search.google.com/search-console
- Click on + Add Property on the top-left of your screen under the Google Search console logo
- Paste the link to your site
- For verifying ownership, expand the HTML tag option
- Copy the meta tag
- Go back to your site
- Click on Design and Pages under the Styles and Settings option
- Click on Site Settings on your left
- Go to the Advanced tab on the editor
- Expand the Header code option
- Paste the meta tag on the box
- Publish your site
- Go back to Google Search Console and click on Verify
- Your ownership will be verified by Google Search Console
