# Mailerlite Integration (Subscription Form)

# Getting Started

This article will cover integrating Mailerlite into a subscription form on your website. Follow all the instructions accordingly to integrate Mailerlite into your subscription form.

# Add a Subscription Form

Follow the below steps to add a Subscription form:

- Click `+ Add New Section` and select a **Container**.
- Click on the `+` button labeled with **Add Element or Container**.
- Then, select **Subscription Form** from the **Elements** tab.

# Integrating MailerLite

To integrate MailerLite into your subscription form, follow the steps given below:

- After you add the Subscription Form, click on Edit Element
- Expand the Form Configuration option
- Choose Mailerlite from the Services option
- Log in to Mailerlite
- Go to Integrations from your Mailerlite Dashboard
- Under the Mailerlite section, click on the Use button
- Click on Generate new token
- Enter a token name and click on Create
- Copy the token by clicking on Copy
- Go to your website builder and click on Add New API Key on the Subscription Form element editor
- Give it a name, and paste your API key
- Done! Mailerlite has been integrated with your subscription form.


| If you don’t have API V2, the latest version of the Mailerlite API (released on March 22nd, 2022), you need to select the Classic option from the dropdown.

1. Expand the **Form Configuration** option from the Subscription Form editor

2. From the `Configuration Type`, stick to the **API** tab and choose **Mailerlite** from the **Services** option.

3. **Log in to Mailerlite** and go to Integrations from your Mailerlite Dashboard.

4. Click on the `Integrations` option from the left panel of the MailerLite dashboard.

5. Click on the `Use` button near **API** option.

6. Click on the `Generate new token` button.

7. Enter a token name and click on the `Create token` button.

8. Copy the token by clicking on **Copy.**

9. Return to your Dorik website builder, open the Subscription Form element editor, and click the **`+`** button next to the `API Key` field. Enter a **name** and **paste your API key** into the input field. If it’s a newly generated token, choose `New`; if it’s a previously generated token, choose `Classic`. After that, click the `Save` button. Then, select the saved API key from the field.

10. Now, from the `Subscription List` field, choose your **MailerLite Group**.

    **✅ To create a MailerLite group**, navigate to the **Subscribers** option from the left panel of the MailerLite dashboard. Then go to the **Groups** tab and click on the **Create group** button to create a new group.

11. To test this, **publish** your site and visit it externally. Then, **input any email address** into the Subscription Form.

12. Go to the **MailerLite dashboard,** click on the **Subscribers** option, and go to the **All Subscribers** tab.

13. You will find the email you input in step 11 added to your subscriber's list.
