# CMS Site Ownership Transfer


# Getting Started

If you want to transfer ownership of your CMS site to another user or client, the **Transfer Site** option is designed for this purpose. This article will guide you through the process of transferring site ownership.



# How to Transfer Your CMS Site


Follow these steps to transfer ownership of your CMS site:

1. Go to your **Dorik site dashboard** and go to the **CMS** tab.

2. Scroll to the site you want to transfer and click the `Transfer Site` icon next to your site.

3. Enter the **email address** of the person you want to transfer ownership to, and then click the **Transfer button**.

4. A **notification** will appear on your dashboard informing you that the new site owner will receive an email.

5. The new owner should check their email and click the `Accept Ownership` button to log into the site.

6. A **notification** will appear confirming that the ownership transfer was **successful**.

7. After reloading the page, the site will no longer appear on your dashboard, but will now appear on the new owner's dashboard.
