In this article, you will learn the process of how to Add a New Collection to your CMS site.

### Add a new custom collection

To add a new custom collection, **follow the steps** below or **refer to the GIF** under it.

- Go to the Collections section on the **left-hand panel** of your Dashboard.
- Click on `+ Add New Collection`
- Set the Collection Type, Name, Slug, etc., to proceed
- Click on `Add Collection`
- Upon completion, you can also add some dummy items automatically to the collection ranging from 5 to 15 blog posts.
